Las Vegas is the Entertainment Capital of the World and this summer Vegas adds new resident artists that LGBTQ audiences will love! Queen and Adam Lambert take up residency at Park Theater in September at the newly remodeled Park MGM where you can also catch Cher (and Ricky Martin through Memorial Day Weekend). Mariah Carey returns to The Colosseum at Caesars Palace with her new show. Gwen Stefani takes the stage at Zappos! Theater at Planet Hollywood with her new show and you can still catch Jennifer Lopez, the Backstreet Boys.

The idea of Las Vegas residencies dates back decades. In the 1940’s Liberace paved the way for many more to follow. Frank Sinatra with the Rat Pack in the 1950’s. Then we had Elvis Presley who is still an icon of Las Vegas. In 2003, “A New Day” arrived when Céline Dion brought her star power to Las Vegas with the opening of The Colosseum at Caesar’s Palace. This proved that current reigning stars can draw in audiences to Las Vegas on a massive scale. The star power in this city now is quite impressive, and it’s only going to get better with new residencies being announced all of the time.
