Thank you for picking up this issue of QVegas. September kicks off Las Vegas PRIDE 2014. Come celebrate with the city at the annual festival and parade Sept. 5 and 6 with other festivities during the week, including GayDays.
We decided to make this issue our first Seven Deadly Sins issue featuring each vice in a creative way throughout the issue. From Michael Barbieri’s gluttonous Eating Out feature to our Last Word featuring the two faces of Pride by Norma Llyaman. This issue was fun to put together and I thank all of our contributors.
Edie and Garrett Pattiani are featured on this month’s cover annoucing the launch of Gay.Vegas. Las Vegas and the Internet make history with the launch of .VEGAS. The impact that the Dot Com era has had on modern media is incredible and we are witnessing the next generation of Internet come alive for Las Vegas with the global launch of the new .Vegas top-level domain. The Gay.Vegas launch is expected to help businesses align with the .Vegas domain and benefit directly from the $100,000,000 spent annually promoting Las Vegas.
