What started as a simple idea between three powerhouse creatives has grown into a full-blown community movement, rooted in connection, inclusivity, and, yes, a little flirtation.

Behind the energy of Lez Touch Ent are co-founders Denisha Ashley, Kiara Williams, and Ebony McClain, a trio of community-builders who are reshaping the sapphic social landscape of Las Vegas one event at a time. With roles ranging from MC to graphic designer to event coordinator, they’re not just throwing parties—they’re curating meaningful, safe spaces where women who love women can show up, let loose, and find their people.

Queer Women Deserve More Than Apps

“When we first started Lez Touch in 2022, we always knew we wanted to do a speed dating event,” says Denisha, who manages project coordination and social media. “Lesbian and queer women have a hard time meeting people here in person—outside of social media, it’s slim pickings.”

Las Vegas has long struggled to sustain consistent, women-centered queer spaces, especially nightlife events that feel as safe as they are fun. Enter Lez Touch Ent—a collective of creators and curators filling that gap with themed parties, rooftop ragers, and intentional dating experiences.

Their speed dating series, hosted monthly at Fergusons Downtown’s intimate F Bar, was designed to bring the dating process back to basics: real people, face to face, no apps, no algorithms.

Fergusons Said Yes

“When we pitched the idea to Fergusons, they immediately said yes,” says Kiara, who handles logistics, talent coordination, and design. “That kind of support matters. Not every venue wants to host queer women, and that’s just the truth. But Fergusons gave us space to build something real.”

The event is RSVP-only and capped at around 30 participants, helping keep the vibe cozy and controlled. “It’s 21 and up, strictly for women who love women, and designed to be safe from start to finish,” Ebony adds.

Fergusons’ central downtown location, walkability, and reputation for hosting inclusive events made it the perfect home for a new kind of queer meetup—something distinctly warm, grounded, and welcoming.

So How Does It Work?

“We start the evening with an hour of icebreakers—music, drinks, food, mingling,” Ebony explains. “It gives everyone time to loosen up. We get a lot of introverts and people who say, ‘I never go out, I don’t know why I’m here!’ But that first hour helps.”

After that comes the good stuff. From 8 to 10 PM, participants are paired off for five-minute conversations, rotating through matches with the help of custom paper scorecards. Attendees jot down names, impressions, and check boxes—friendship, business, or romantic interest. At the end of the night, Lez Touch collects the cards and helps connect mutual matches.

“It’s old-school,” Ebony says. “You’re not hiding behind a screen. You’re talking to someone across from you and learning who they are in real time.”

A Scene Reimagined

Since its launch, LEZ Speed Date has helped kickstart dozens of friendships, collaborations, and flings. “Our first event had 40 women show up,” Denisha says. “Now we’re seeing new faces every month—and that’s huge.”

Some attendees return every month, using the event as their one true social outing. Others become regulars at Lez Touch parties or pop up at local queer gatherings with new friend groups formed over speed dating rounds.

“It’s beautiful to watch,” Ebony says. “I’ve seen strangers turn into brunch besties, hiking partners, even business collaborators. It’s more than dating—it’s networking, it’s healing, it’s community.”

Beyond the Date

LEZ Speed Date may be the signature event, but Lez Touch Ent isn’t slowing down. The team curates a full calendar of immersive queer events all year long—from nostalgic Y2K nights to rooftop Western dance parties to afterparties that keep the vibe going long after the last round.

“We know how to throw a party,” Kiara laughs. “But more importantly, we know how to build a space where people feel seen.”

That intentionality extends to how they manage social media, promote events, and cultivate an online presence. “People always ask on TikTok, ‘Is there anything for lesbians to do in Vegas?’” Denisha says. “And now we get to answer: Yes. There is. Come through.”

New for Pride: The Poly Edition

This June, in honor of Pride Month, Lez Touch is trying something new: a Poly Edition of LEZ Speed Date. The goal? To welcome polyamorous and ethically non-monogamous queer women—and their partners—into the fold.

“You’d be surprised how many women in our community are poly,” Ebony notes. “We want to make sure they feel included too. This is our first time trying it, and we’re excited to see how it goes.”

Thinking of signing up but feeling nervous? Don’t worry—you’re not alone. “Just be yourself,” Ebony says. “It’s OK to be awkward. That’s half the room!”

And for those looking for a strong opener: “Ask them about their coming-out story,” Denisha suggests. “It’s always a great way to break the ice and see where someone’s coming from.”

Also? Some attendees show up just to observe. “We’ve had people buy tickets, sit at the park, and watch from a distance,” Ebony laughs. “They come back the next month and jump in.”
