#MaskUp4NV, a pro-mask campaign kicked off a series of events to promote the wearing of masks by all local Las Vegas residents and visitors to the city.
The first event was held on June 25th at the iconic Las Vegas sign with a star-studded fashion show. The Las Vegas entertainment community came to the forefront to encourage the wearing of masks to slow the spread of COVID-19 and keep Las Vegas and its visitors healthy because “the show must go on.”
The second event, a pop-up parade & performance, teamed up with all Las Vegas hospitals to make stops at 13 Las Vegas hospitals to showcase the full spectrum of Las Vegas Strip Performers including a live aerialist performing from a fire engine ladder, singers, showgirls, impersonators and more. All participants wore masks to remind the community to wear their masks in public and to celebrate the passionate healthcare and essential workers in our community.
