I started “The Light of Agnes” nonprofit organization to serve the military family postpartum (the time immediately after childbirth/adoption/foster) with resources to include: self-care, food delivery services, paid transportation for extended family to visit and support. (basically things I or a unit already does, but now it’s legit and not out of our own pocket). This is in honor of my mother, Agnes V. Herrera.
